Where or When
Dear friends and music lovers,
I have been a pianist for 64 years and have performed in arenas, performing arts halls, churches, clubs and dive bars with seating capacities ranging from 40 people to 10,000.
I am honored to have played on pianos previously utilized by such piano legends as Horowitz and Rubinstein or entertainers including Liberace and Nat King Cole. I have composed a successful musical, composed for television and been the recording pianist for films. I have recorded 10 cds.
Shortly after moving to Asheville in late 2010, I first heard the stunning voice of Simone Vigilante. Since that time we have experienced the magnificence of performing together in concert in multiple venues many, many times. Simone’s voice is a glorious work of art.
After a lifetime as a pianist and musician, I wanted to share my love and passion for music in this concert entitled
The Songbird and The Pianist in which Simone and I will perform our most beloved pieces.
We have chosen to present this performance in the intimacy of the exquisite St. Giles Chapel located on the campus of the Deerfield Retirement Community.
